The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce. It provides governance over the business of the Chamber, overseeing the financial transactions, and is responsible for the interpretation and development and implementation of policies that are approved by the membership.
The Board is responsible for leadership and direction; conditions and constraints; oversight of performance; knowledge of stakeholder expectations, needs, concerns and interests; acting in the best interests of the organization; and ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization.
The Board is a dedicated group of individuals who are also committed members of the chamber. Their work, and the time they offer to the management of the chamber, is a true reflection of the passion the organization has for Winnipeg West, and for the businesses in this region.
